Finzip is an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN-189270). The mutual fund schemes you subscribe to through Finzip are Regular plans, which involve payment of commission to Finzip by the respective Asset Management Companies (AMCs). This page discloses the indicative rate of commission receivable by Finzip, so you can see our incentive before you invest.
1. Regular Plan and commission
The schemes offered on the Finzip platform are Regular plans. For a Regular plan, the AMC pays Finzip a trail commission out of the scheme’s expense ratio. This does not increase the cost payable by you beyond the scheme’s standard charges, and Finzip does not charge you any separate fee for distribution.
2. Indicative trail-commission brackets
The bands below are the indicative first-year trail commission (% per annum, Regular plan) Finzip receives across the mutual fund schemes it distributes, grouped by category. They are indicative only — the exact rate varies by scheme, fund house and period.
| Scheme category | Indicative trail commission (per annum) |
|---|---|
| Equity funds | 0.42% – 1.23% |
| Hybrid funds | 0.20% – 1.06% |
| Debt funds | 0.04% – 0.80% |
| Liquid / overnight funds | 0.03% – 0.21% |
| ELSS (tax-saver) funds | 0.51% – 0.85% |
| Index funds & ETFs (passive) | 0.08% – 0.45% |
These rates are indicative and disclosed on a best-effort basis; actual commission varies by scheme, plan option and period, and is subject to change and to clawback as per SEBI regulations. Inflows from B-30 cities (beyond the top 30 cities) and eligible new investors may attract an additional incentive under SEBI norms, over and above the above trail. The exact commission attributable to your investments is reflected in the half-yearly Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) issued to you by CAMS / KFintech.
3. Scheme offer documents
Please read all scheme-related documents — the Scheme Information Document (SID), Statement of Additional Information (SAI) and Key Information Memorandum (KIM) — carefully before investing. These are available on the SEBI mutual funds page here and on the respective AMC websites. Mutual Fund investments are subject to market risks; read all scheme related documents carefully before investing.
4. Regulatory basis
